Wizards of the Coast is a gaming company in Seattle that used to have gaming stores in shopping malls. The stores were shuttered after Hasbro bought the company.

My friend Kim Graham is a world renowned sculptor who became quite famous in Seattle for making magnificent dragons for their stores. When the Northgate Mall store was closed, the 12 foot wide dragon that hung from the ceiling of the store needed to be removed for storage until it could be installed in the home of one of the founders of Wizards of the Coast.

It was a fun little rigging challenge to lower it down and dismantle it. Kim later moved to New Zealand to work for WETA Studios on the Hobbit movies.

She married a Kiwi and now lives there permanently.

She also invented an amazing sculptable concrete for outdoor sculptures called Pal-Tiya.
