Chandeliers, backsplash, railings, Summer '96

185 feet of railing all using the same pattern. All pieces were built offsite, and installed by carpenters, except the inner rail of the sweep staircase. The inner rail was tacked together onsite and finished in the shop, it was also installed by carpenters.

The chandeliers were made from scratch.

FYI The Street of Dreams is an annual event in Seattle where a committee of Seattle area developers selects an area, and then sell off lots in that area to participating architecture and contracting firms. Each architect builds his "dream house".

When the houses are completed the whole street is fenced off and admission is charged to the public to view the houses.

It is a way to see the latest home technology and interior trends.

The house I worked on was designed by Redman/CJ, LLC.
