My purge chamber was built from acrylic sheet, with a 1/4" aluminum base plate. The gloves are a combination of cuffs from sandblaster gloves and TIG gloves for the fingers.
The input port for the torch, and the vent tube on top are simply plumber's bathroom sink drains. The regulator is an oxygen regulator with an argon tank fitting installed. This allows a much higher flow to purge the tank of air. I have found that 5 minutes at 40 PSI works well, then I turn it down to 5 PSI.
I used silicone adhesive weather stripping to seal between the box and the base.
Haven't used it much yet, but it works.
