I have been working metal since age 14 when I took my first Blacksmithing class. I attended Gunsmithing and Welding schools, then graduated from Purdue with a degree in Theatre, and spent 11 years as a union stagehand — at Purdue, in San Francisco, and finally in Seattle. I was a welding instructor for 16 years across four schools. I have been a Certified Welding Inspector for 11 years and now work as a third party building inspector in the greater Seattle area.
Areas of focus: brewery equipment, marine equipment, cast iron repair, aluminum welding, stainless steel, railings, countertops, bronze and copper work, and knife making.
