Born and raised in Indiana, I have been working with metal since age 14 when I took my first blacksmithing class. I attended gunsmithing and welding schools, then graduated from Purdue University with a degree in theater. I spent 11 years as a union stagehand — at Purdue, in San Francisco, and finally in Seattle.
I was a welding instructor for 16 years across four schools and have been a Certified Welding Inspector since 2005. I now work as a third party inspector in the greater Seattle area.
As a fabricator, I'm especially good with brewery equipment, marine equipment, cast iron repair, aluminum welding, stainless steel, railings, countertops, bronze and copper work, and knife making.
